Dalmation Diet

A Dalmatian diet differs from that of other breeds.

They cannot eat offal so their diet consists of 90% meat & 10% bone.

The breed excretes uric acid in their urine, due to a metabolic defect that all Dalmatians have.

This means they must have a low purine diet, so no offal (liver, spleen, brain, testicles, kidney & pancreas).
